Like many, got this after getting upper lobe and flat pierced. I toss and turn a lot, this has been wonderful for when I’m on my side. As others said Notch fits in shoulder/neck area well, size is pretty good (hole may be a tiiiiiny bit small for some, but one you find the right placement you’re golden)Also bc I didn’t see any comments on this – this does wash well. I have the pink one, threw it in a lingerie bag in a colors load on cool, air dried, came out fluffy and no worse for wear. Color did not appear to bleed. Important to keep things clean while healing!

Just got my conch and 2nd lobes pierced and I haven’t slept properly for two days. The traveler’s pillows I previously bought came up too far on my neck and I woke up with the worse neck pain. After getting my conch pierced, I Googled “piercing pillow” thinking there had to be a solution to sleeping on your side with a new piercing. After looking at several handmade pillows on Etsy for $30+, I found this neat pillow that looked like it could do the same thing for much cheaper. I’m so happy I bought this pillow! This is what you need for air flow and draining!It has so many uses, I can’t list them all, but for my personal experience, this pillow was the answer to pain whenever I would roll over. It also likely aided in quick heading because it preserved more bloodlow and air access.My faith fully healed, I now use it when traveling and want to listen to music as I doze, doing so comfortably without disturbing my partner (I do not recommend wearing earbuds all night, but you almost certainly could if need be with the m this product).I’ve used other pillows with “ear holes”, but they require using a singular position. The indentation on the side even offers better comfort whether lying on the back or side.It is well made, incredibly soft, easy to clean and as compact as a standard ‘neck pillow”.Simply put, this turned out to be one of my absolute best purchasing decisions in years!

When I got a snug piercing a couple years ago, I knew I’d have trouble healing it since I typically sleep on my side. I tried multiple pillows with a hole in the middle to try to solve this issue, but none of them were comfortable and only created more problems for me (my neck was destroyed). This pillow was the only one I found that was actually comfortable to sleep on that also helped my piercing heal, plus it was CUTE! Bought a second one after misplacing the first one because I liked it so much. Highly recommend this one!

Great for an actual pillow
I actually use it as a normal pillow. I can’t go to sleep without listening to something, but my husband can’t go to sleep if there’s any sound in the room. So I put my phone underneath the pillow so that my ear is close to the phone speakers and then I can listen to a movie or listen to music and my husband can’t hear it. So I can go to sleep and he can go to sleep.Even more perfect is that the bite in the donut, allows for the hole to be right where my ear is because my shoulder fits in that indent in the pillow.(Also a good note: if you’re going to try this, to keep the phone from overheating, on my iPhone I put a timer on. One of the choices for “When toner Ends” is Stop Playing—it’s at the very bottom. If you choose this, at the end of the timer, the phone will go to sleep, turning off whatever you’re listening to, and keeping the phone from overheating.)This would be a great pillow if you had ear problems. Like if you needed for your ear not to touch a pillow, like after a piercing.

Perfect Solution- I Love When That Happens!
Like many others here, I have a CNH sore on my ear that necessitates my not applying any pressure to my ear. I tried (unsuccessfully) to sleep on my other side and in any event, thought I could then get a CNH on that ear as well even if I could sleep on that side. The pillow is lovely and soft and most importantly- it works! Certainly a better option than the $80 medical pillow. This was a no brainer!

This is the 3rd earring pillow we have purchased and even tried to modify pillow #2 with no success. This pillow is soft and she places it on top of one of her many pillows and said the hole is perfectly placed with no pinching.
